This narrowed version of the classic Axed chopper gas tank holds 1.9 gallons of gas. Narrower (as the name implies) than the standard Axed gas tank, it sits up pretty high on your frame's backbone. Axed tanks came about in the 1970's, styled after some motorcycle enthusiasts made for their Harley-Davidson choppers by cutting up stock H-D split gas tanks and welding the halves together, end up with a similar shape to the Axed Tank. Axed tanks are sometimes called an Alien Gas Tank because they resemble an alien head, especially the dual-cap version (the caps are the eyes)! It accepts any cam-style and accepts a . The tunnel, at deepest, is 3.5" deep. The mounting tabs are drilled, allowing you to drill and mount your tank exactly how you want it.
